Financial Aid

St. Croix Montessori School does not want financial considerations to be an obstacle to a child and family being able to attend our school.  Our financial aid awards are based on demonstrated financial need and commitment to the full cycle of Montessori education.  To consider individual students for financial aid fairly, each family’s financial situation is processed through FAST by ism, an outside agency used by independent schools throughout the United States.

How to Apply

The online application process is secure and supported by FAST and open January 26-March 3, 2024. To apply, a student must be enrolled at St. Croix Montessori or have been offered an enrollment contract. FAST does not decide whether financial assistance will be given or how much to give; rather FAST provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information from FAST is kept confidential. Upon review by the committee, financial aid offers are then sent to families.

The online application submission deadline for all applications is March 3, 2024. The goal is to have an award determination made by March 11, 2024. While no financial aid procedure can be entirely equitable – there are simply too many individual factors and extenuating circumstances – this new process that has been selected should serve our school community well. Among its many features will be the ability to further secure your financial data, and maintain the high degree of confidentiality that past recipients most appreciated.
